There are already good places to check whether a film or series contains something you would rather avoid — Does the Dog Die is the best known of them, and it has helped a lot of people. ScreenTriggers is built around a narrower question: if you live with a specific phobia, what is in this title, and when does it happen?
How we approach it
Phobia first, not a list of questions
You pick your phobia once — Arachnophobia, Emetophobia, Acrophobia and so on — and every poster, season and episode on the site is checked against it.
Timings on a timeline
Reports can carry an optional start and end time. When several people report the same moment the timeline darkens where they agree, so you can look away or skip a couple of minutes instead of the whole film.
Episode by episode for TV
Series are broken down season by season and episode by episode, each with its own timeline, rather than one answer for the whole show.
Careful wording
Clinical phobia names are used by default, and potentially triggering words stay hidden behind a shield until you choose to see them.
Comments for context only
Comments add detail, but the warning itself always comes from structured reports — never from having to read a thread.

The launch set is Arachnophobia, Emetophobia, Ophidiophobia, Acrophobia, Claustrophobia, Coulrophobia, Aerophobia, Aquaphobia, Trypanophobia and harm to animals. More are added as people request them.
Can I use it alongside other sites?
Absolutely. There is nothing to import or set up. Search a title, pick your phobia and it follows you around the site. If a title has no reports yet, you can add the first one.
